Tuesday Evenings
Beginning Zen Meditation Instruction Class (no evening practice): Dharma
Teachers will give beginning Zen meditation instruction at 7 p.m. on Tuesday
evenings. You must register at least 24 hours in advance at (323) 934-0330 and
leave your phone number. Please try to arrive by 6:45 p.m. A $10 donation is
requested for the class.
Wednesday Evenings
Long Sitting and Interviews: Three periods of sitting after chanting; practice
lasts from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Paul Park Ji Do Poep Sa Nim gives Zen
Kong-an Interviews on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.
Friday Evenings
No evening practice on Friday evenings.
Saturday Evenings
Long Sitting: Three periods of sitting Zen after chanting; practice lasts from
6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday morning practice begins at 10 a.m. with the Morning Bell Chant followed
by one period of sitting and either a Dharma Talk or a Circle Talk (see Retreat & Event Schedule). There is no Sunday practice on retreat weekends.
